After 39 years as managing director of EXHAUSTO A/S in Langeskov Peter Hermansen, the owner of the company, has decided to retire at the age of 63 to let a new generation be the head of the company./Kjeld_Pedersen.jpg)
Peter Hermansen's successor will be Kjeld Pedersen who is the 44 years old and already familiar with the company as he has been a member of the board of EXHAUSTO A/S since 2004 and the chairman of the board since 2007. Kjeld Pedersen will enter upon his new job at EXHAUSTO on 1st December at the latest.
Peter Hermansen emphasizes Kjeld Pedersen's international experience, his professional skills, his personal qualities, and his career in the Grundfos Group as very important for the selection of him to the job. During the latest nine years Kjeld Pedersen has been part of the top management of one of the main business areas at Grundfos: Building Services, recently as the senior executive of the business unit with direct reference to the Grundfos Group Management.
Today EXHAUSTO A/S is the largest private group within ventilation in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden and the company wants to maintain and develop this position. The company has a strategy of expansive growth for the years to come including market growth in Eastern Europe and acquisitions. "In the future EXHAUSTO is to change to a new and higher gear to cope with the ever growing, international competition," explains Peter Hermansen and continues:
"That is the reason why a new managing director is necessary, and I am very happy to place my lifework in the hands of Kjeld Pedersen, a competent management staff and a well-run organisation."
In future Peter Hermansen will be chairman of the board of EXHAUSTO A/S. He is already chairman of the board of EXHAUSTO CDT A/S (Chimney Draft Technology), which was established as an independent business unit on 1st January 2007. He also continues as director in the parent company EXHAUSTO International A/S.
