Mechanical Combustion Air Supply
EXHAUSTO supplies fans for both chimney draught and ventilation systems.
When a boiler room is situated in a basement and ventilation grilles are impossible to fit: mechanical ventilation is required and both EXHAUSTO product lines cross over.
The British Standard BS6644 gives us flow rates for certain burner types and kW ratings of appliance. However, the total resistance of the system needs to be calculated as well, in order to select the appropriate fans for the job. EXHAUSTO can supply fans for both supply and extract, as well as accessories such as Pressure Differential Switches for monitoring the flow.
Systems are available incorporating control systems from simple, manual speed regulation to fully automated, constant-pressure regulation with integrated fail-safe functions.
